Abstract: The traditional method of teaching Physics results in most students being confused as far as mechanical, thermodynamics, optics, electromagnetism basic concepts are concerned. Traditional learning does not offer students enough motivation to learn Physics. The present teaching method is centered on teachers and involves little active learning, students being spectators in the process of knowledge acquisition. This is why new methods of teaching Physics must be used in order to motivate students, to make them understand that Physics is not only about memorizing and calculating. Teachers should always focus on finding the best lesson projects, questions and forms of evaluation to contribute to monitoring students` understanding [1]. That is why, the interactive Smart Board is an excellent way of learning, being an instrument used by teachers for both teaching lessons as well as for grading students. Using the Smart Notebook 10 software, the material in a lesson can be presented in an interactive way as this software allows access to a wide range of photos from almost all chapters of Physics, also enabling the attachment of documents and the addition of hiperlinks. Such presentation of the lesson is more attractive, thus making the children more involved in the educational process. The present paper`s purpose is to present the way in which, by using the interactive whiteboard, teachers can promote an interactive learning and stimulate students` creative potential.
