Abstract:
Optical absorption of quantum dot (QD) is investigated by using a non-adiabatic approach (T.O. Cheche, M.C. Chang, Chemical Physics Letters 406, 479 (2005)), in which Fröhlich-type interaction between exciton and longitudinal optical (LO) phonons is assumed. The optical spectra are obtained by using the Fermi golden rule. Our approach predicts accompanying resonances to the usual LO phononic lines, and red shift, and decrease of intensity of the 0PL line with temperature, as observed experimentally.
