Abstract:
A geometric approach of the phenomenon of light propagation in terms of relativistic space-time can be useful for both applications and theoretical point of view. Thus, outlining the relativistic nature of a dynamic structure specified by a canonical Hamiltonian-Jacobi system associated to a spatio-temporal reference frame in a curved space (M, g), we can better understand and describe with a high degree of accuracy, the relativistic manner in which the electromagnetic waves propagate in a curved space-time.
