 Abstract:
Hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6 (OH)2 ) is very important for application in medicine due to their biological and chemical affinity with bony tissues. Ferrimagnetic hydroxyapatite was introduced for hyperthermia treatment of bone cancer. The structural properties of ferromagnetic Hap ceramics are assessed. Two series of samples were prepared in the system hydroxyapatite, iron-oxide nanoparticles. The samples were studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS). The functional groups of the coatings were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and Raman spectroscopy. FTIR spectra showed the presence of ,OH- , MOh and MTh, groups in the powders, where MOh and MTh correspond to the metal occupyng tetrahedral and octahedral position.
