Abstract:
In a few previous works, we presented an object oriented code simulation, developed in Microsoft C#, for the analysis of relativistic, three-dimensional, many-body system. By using the inheritance and polymorphism mechanism, we improved the application in order to easy apply it on any particular case of interest. An interaction retardation algorithm was added also. We used the mentioned system for the study of α-Cu inclusive collision at 4.5 A GeV/c. The nucleons are initially placed in the vertexes of a centered Archimedean polyhedron, with radial velocities calculated using the rejection method, in agreement with the Fermi-Dirac distribution. For the bi-particle interaction we considered the Yukawa potential, together with a Coulombian term. We compare the simulation output with the exponential results obtained for the spectrum and angular distribution of protons. Reasonable agreement is observed.
