Abstract:
A free-electron current laser ondulator model is proposed. The representation is composed of a multitude of wreaths having axial symmetry relative to the z axis. Wreaths are wound on a cylinder with hexagonal cross-section, in evenly distributed planes, all perpendicular on z. The main feature of the model comes from the alternating dipoles created by each wreath. Therefore, the model will allow the study of non-linear dynamics of the electrons accelerated by the ondulator`s magnetic fields.
