Abstract:
Using a 1D model of a soft-core Coulomb potential, we show numerically that the cuasistationary stabilization (QS) and atomic dichotomy, considered as high frequency concepts, are also applied at low frequencies, on condition that the intensity is sufficiently high. We have obtained in the HI-HFFT framework the quasienergies for the low frequency case in an extended range of field intensity. The exact results for the cuasienergies are in good agreement with the predictions of HI-HFFT. The total ionization rate tends to zero (in a oscillatory manner) displaying QS. Atomic dichotomy is illustrated by analysing the behaviour of the components of the Floquet solutions. We present the changes of the structure of the Floquet components at the increasing of field intensity at fixed frequency, emphasizing the role of the avoided crossings (AvCr) in the process.
