Abstract: Environmental pollution is one of the most debated issues in the world because pollution is currently a major threat to human but also for air, water, soil, flora and fauna.Gaseous pollutants and ozone pollution from road traffic affects especially jobs in the environment, those near high traffic areas but the whole working population and children, adults, elderly people living or traveling daily high traffic areas. Action for air quality monitoring treated in tis paper is useful in that it provides direct information with regard to: i) the concentrations of tropospheric ozone O3, NO, NOx, during 2006 and 2008 in urban, suburban and rural areas; ii) the effects of tropospheric ozone on the environment, on human health, the safety and health at workplaces outdoors. The conclusions are that the noxious gases and ozone pollution from road traffic affect especially jobs in the outdoors especially near high traffic areas.
