Abstract: Modern Society`s reliance on the scientific discoveries of the technology represents the importance of physics in daily life. The teachers use modern methods, with the hope of improving the students’ learning. Physics involves every aspect of our lives; it is one area of science that cuts across all other subjects; for this aspect I used the method Outdoor education, that usually refers to "Education outside the classroom" which involves experiences for students, in a variety of challenges, for example visits in our local industry; this is the start for an interdisciplinary project (physics, mathematics, technologies, informatics), in our College,”The graph- the cell of civilization”.”How it works?”, the interfunctional relation of a technological system , a mathematical function in a graph, the analyses of the graphs and their interpretations, the efficiency of a system are the problems that concern a student after a visit in Environment. Some constant aims of outdoor education are to: enhance personal and social development, develop a deeper relationship with sciences, improve problem solving skills, enhance teamwork, and understand natural environments. Using the Environment as an Integrating Context for learning (EIC) is the foundation of a COMENIUS GRANT “Science and Sustainability through Outdoor Learning” (Conference), 1.12. 2013, where I want to present our project, ”The graph- the cell of civilization”.
