Abstract:
The X-shaped are a peculiar part of extragalactic radio sources. Various mechanisms were proposed over the time for their formation. The evolution of computing capabilities now permits high resolution simulations of the Plasma flows that form the jets.
2D and 3D simulations allow choosing the most realistic interpretation from the proposed ones.
