Abstract: During the period 2003-2007 it was financed in Romania by the World Bank and the Romanian Government a Rural Education Project. The project was addressed to primary and secondary education (compulsory education) teachers in rural areas. Theoretical and applied activities have approached teaching and evaluation techniques in all fields of compulsory education, including physics. Teachers became aware of some methods of studentent`s knowledge student-centered interactive teaching and continuous evaluation to achieve the final goal, namely, school success of all students. By applying new methods of classroom teaching and assessment it has been a growing physics interest of the students which led immediately to improve their educational outcomes. The teaching became more beautiful, more dynamic, less stressful. In schools with AeL (advanced e-learning) laboratories the teaching activity was much better. AeL physics lessons constitute a new learning way in comparison to those usually applied. Physics teachers were able to conduct virtual experiments, and to achieve multiple choice tests in a short time.
