Abstract:
One of our interests in the PTNDS, CEEX project, is to solve the problem of defining the characteristics of an asteroid using simple techniques. Using small telescopes it is not possible to resolve the form and shape of a small celestial body, but instead a photometric device applied to a small telescope will be able to provide the light curve of the rotating non-spherical object. The aim of our communication is the show the strategy of using the light curve in order to obtain asteroid’s characteristics. Also we will show some promising results obtained till now.
