Abstract:
The work is focused on the analysis of pollution with particulate matter (PM10) in three different areas. The measurements were performed during of the three months, from March to May 2014. The equipment Sven- Leckel System air pomp was used with fiberglass filters. The monitoring sites were located in Bucurestii Noi (urban station), Magurele (suburban station) and Surlari (rural station). Daily (24hours) measurements of PM10 concentrations were compared for the three sites and analized in connection with meteorological conditions. The study have shown that the PM10 concentrations are higher in Bucurestii Noi, followed by Magurele and Surlari. This behavior is explained by the existence of enhanced traffic in Bucurestii Noi and absence of pollution sources in Surlari. Meteorological conditions influenced pollutant concentrations , especially in the days with rain.
