Abstract:
Our paper proposes a Passive Micro Home design, a 3-by-3 meters house that is energy efficient and bursting with natural light. We believe this new entry on the tiny house scene is to reduce consumerism and provide an affordable and sustainable housing option. The design uses space spectacularly, but most importantly, it is packed flat so that it can be shipped anywhere in the world. The world would be a better place if housing was more accessible and affordable to everyone. We completed the design and engineering of the house, and we want to install it on Danube Delta and then to construct and test its prototype and develop the infrastructure for larger scale production. This document is a calculation method for photovoltaic electricity powering a passive house built in a location in the Danube Delta. It presented a spreadsheet application for a system of more consumers and lights (bulbs), fridge, electric household water pump. The calculations are simple and clear, the final results leading to information needed for building photovoltaic system: solar panels, storage batteries, inverter connector. We use simplicity. Simplify the calculation allows to increase reliability and lower maintenance costs. A reliable performance of a photovoltaic system requires: consistent sizing calculation, technical knowledge, the use of good engineering practices when installing electrical equipment, develop and follow a plan of operation and maintenance, complete and correct.
