Abstract:
Nowadays the studies of the isomeric states of nuclei became once again of great interest due to the considerably development of experimental devices in the last decades. These experimental progresses give the possibility to verify and improve old experimental data and to obtain new ones on the isomeric states productions.
Photo-neutron cross section reactions on natural Sn were evaluated using Talys code for incident neutrons energy up to some ten’s of MeV’s. For each Sn isotope the contribution of compound, direct and preequilibrium mechanism were extracted. The isomer cross sections and isomer ratios were calculated. The results are compared with existing experimental data obtained by bremsstrahlung source and activation methods.
