Abstract:
In heavy ion collisions at high energy Glauber model is used to describe the multiple scatterings of nucleons in nuclear matter. In the Glauber Monte Carlo approach the position of the nucleons in each of the nuclei is randomly selected according to the nuclear density distribution and the interactions between nucleons is modeled by the inelastic nucleon-nucleon cross section which depends on energy. Consequently, fluctuations in the initial state conditions play a fundamental role in the hydrodynamic evolution of the system and in the final particle distribution functions. In this paper we analyze the dependence between event-by-event asymmetries like eccentricity and azimuthal distributions like elliptic flow in heavy ion collisions at energy corresponding to CBM experiment from FAIR-GSI.
