Abstract:
We have studied the nuclear fragmentation at the transition from semi-central to semi-peripheral heavy-ion collisions 124Sn+64Ni, 124Xe+64Zn and 112Sn+58Ni which are considered by the CHIMERA experiment at LNS. Our investigation is performed by studying numerical simulations of the heavy-ion collisions within a microscopic transport model, Stochastic Mean Field(SMF) at beam energies of 35AMeV and 45AMeV, respectively. We have considered two different parameterizations with density of the symmetry energy and have studied the dynamics of isospin degree of freedom at the transition from multi-fragmentation to neck-fragmentation. The investigation lead to observation of an enrichment in isospin degree of freedom with the increase of impact parameter and possible correlations between emission time scales and isospin dynamics.
