Abstract:
The focus of this research is the study of V0 hadrons decaying to p+-, bar p-+ and Ks -+, produced in pp collisions at CERN/LHC during 2013 in LHCb detector at center of mass energy of s = 2.76 TeV. No bias samples of real and simulated data are used to obtain the invariant mass distributions and raw yields for candidate particles after applying sets of common selection cuts and kinematic cuts. Various models to fit the invariant mass distributions were used and systematic error calculations were conducted. In addition, re-weighting of Monte Carlo(MC) samples was performed to find the best resemblance with data samples in variables like rapidity, transverse momentum and number of tracks.
