Abstract:
The event browser is a flexible QT-based program developed for the LOPES collaboration at KIT – Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (former Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe), Germany, orginally designed to simplify data analysis and provide a graphical interace to visualize data obtained from both the LOPES and KASCADE-Grande cosmic rays induced air showers experiments. The program provides a QT-powered, easily extensible user interface for browsing data stored in ROOT files, using ROOT framework as the backend. The potential use of the event browser to any data analysis will be presented.
