Title: Simulated response of a modular detector for low energy cosmic muons (<1GeV)

Abstract: A simulation code based on the Geant4 toolkit was created in order to
simulate the response of a low energy (<1GeV) cosmic muon detector.
The detector has 16 modules with an active surface of ~1 square meter.
The modules are composed of 3 cm thick plastic scintillators and 1 cm
thick aluminium. Another 4 modules are mounted on the sides of the
detector and serve as anti-coincidence modules. The angular acceptance
and energy sensitivity will be determined.
