Abstract: A house is stood once in life and represents the biggest investment for most of the people. A passive house is a building in which is secured a comfortable indoor climate in summer and winter too. The building must function as a whole, taking into account: the walls, floor, roof, thermal insulation capacity of windows, building location, quality of products to be brought into operation, operating system based heating pump heat, ensuring clean fresh air indoors. The shell of the building works as a heat exchanger in relation with the exterior. Regarding energy efficiency model in a building, it greatly matters all the technical solutions and design principles used, so that all are able to increase energy savings and ensure a healthy and pleasant interior, also helping to reduce greenhouse emissions after use of fossil fuels, and overall reducing home spending. In a passive house, electricity is provided by a photovoltaic installation, cooling is performed by a heating-cooling system mounted in walls and ceilings, heat is collected by solar thermal panels and stored in underground storage of heat, and hot water is prepared in the hot zone of underground deposit.Use all constructive solutions entail a number of vital benefits related to health and comfort of residents, such as the substantial reduction of carbon emissions, the use of ecological materials, exceptional comfort given by the permanent fresh air in the house, the lack of winter cold in interior surfaces lack of excess summer heat, lack of dust allergy generator, maximum natural lighting, lack of stress-induced housing and mental balance by harmonious integration into the environment .
