Abstract:
We study the time evolution of a particle in the presence of a Henon–Heiles (HH) potential in the framework of quantum mechanics. In the first part of the present work we discuss the numerical method and algorithm; in the second part we apply the method for calculation of the metastable states of the system. We compare our results with those existent in the literature, obtained using the complex scaling method.
