Abstract:
In the last 5 years, Carmen Sylva High School from Eforie Sud, have run the program “Sciences and technologies in the Knowledge Society”. The project start from an analyze of the students needs and of the characteristic of the modern society. The general objective of the project is “To increase the students interest for science and technologies with 4 specific objectives: to modernize the learning activities in the classroom using new ICT equipment; to improve the the teachers skills by participating at courses and workshops in Romania and abroad; to stimulate students creativity and innovation; to stimulate partnership between our school and other educational institution from Romania and from Europe. In the paper we present some activities and results in this project during the last school year 2014-2015: new equipment and devices for the classroom and extracurricular activities, workshops for math and science teachers of our school and our students results at national and international competitions.
