Abstract:
This paper presents the results obtained of the measured absorbed dose to water in high energy photon and electron beams provided by linear accelerator in the clinical dosimetry laboratory of radiotherapy department. The absorbed dose to water was measured according to IAEA-398 standard. For measurements were used water proofing ionization chambers. The measurements were performed in water equivalent phantom in reference point for 10 cm x 10 cm field size at SSD = 1 m. For each ionization chamber were used reference point determined according to the radiation beam quality used. The measurements were performed in the photon beam reference point 5 cm. For electron beams the reference point was determining according to electron beam quality (R50). For each measured value were considered influence quantities and was evaluated measurement uncertainty.
