Abstract:
We explore various facets of Pygmy Dipole Resonance, including collectivity and the role of the symmetry energy, by employing schematic models based on separable interactions as well as transport descriptions based on Vlasov equation. Experimental properties as energy centroid and sum-rules are well reproduced. A mechanism for the appearance of Pygmy Dipole Resonance and the development of the collectivity is proposed.
