Abstract:
First considered in turbulence, the inverse statistics was used in several studies regarding the dynamics of the financial markets in order to determine the optimal waiting time for an investor to obtain a fixed level of return.
In the present paper, inspired by the previous work in economics, we extend such studied to the statistical features of the earthquakes from the seismic region Vrancea.
