Abstract:
Our latest research focused on the proper selection of methods through which a modern teacher of Physics may achieve both efficiency and quality in the teaching of this scientific discipline. After experimenting with different teaching methods on students, we concluded that, for this particular age group, project-based learning is the best methodological approach capable of ensuring the efficiency of the didactic process. In this paper we set to illustrate the way in which Physics teachers can apply the project-based learning method in order to achieve their didactic objectives. We will provide the concrete example of such a project that we developed in the field of Acoustics: designing and implementing a sound system for a school. We will review the results that we obtained by making a comparative analysis between this method and other methods usually approached in the teaching of Acoustics.
