Abstract:
Detailed studies showed that, the cosmic ray particles with high energies are able to reach at the sea level and the underground. The galactic cosmic ray particles and their secondary products are the main contributor to the radiation dose of the terrestrial environment. It is one of the major goals of the today’s research to determine the effective dose rates from the cosmic ray particles. The calculations are based on principles of the cosmic radiation dosimetry. The calculated results are shown in order to demonstrate the ionizing character of the cosmic radiation. In conclusion, I considered that, the contributions of the cosmic ray particles to the radiation environment are dependent of the various factors.
