Abstract:
One of the most important challenges nowadays is that students are not so interested in science learning as much as they did some years ago. So, teachers have to diversify their teaching strategies as to make students more appropriate to science. Constructivist strategies allow engaging students in hands on activities together with IT. Using games in teaching science keep students focused on their tasks; in the same time reduce fatigue supporting their efforts. During game based activities students are actively involved in learning, as actors, protagonists, not as onlookers. This is connected with their dynamism of thinking, imagination and affective life'. Didactic games can be successfully used in knowledge acquisition as tools in the classroom. For the best didactic effect it is important for the students to make this discovery on their own, guided by teachers.
