We will present some facts on the efficacity of polynomial bounds. We will emphasize on the efficiency of bounds for positive polynomial roots. We shall compute the overestimation factor between specific bounds B and the true bound for positive roots. In the case of the bound R+r of Lagrange, the overestimation factor does not exceed 2n, where is n the degree of the polynomial.
