Abstract:
Due to the advances in the technology of renewable energy, battery technologies and general know- how in this field the idea of creating a hybrid system to power an agriculture machinery, in this case a tractor, was developed. Considering the fact that in agriculture large quantities of fuel are used, transposing the electrical car technologies in the agriculture domain is necessary to get lower production costs and reducing usage of fossil fuel. This paper went through the theory of hybrid technologies, existing achievements in this domain and also in agriculture and proposed a technical solution, for a tractor, so that it will reduce fuel consumption as much as possible.Also, the economic part of the proposed technical solution was analyzed and how can the investment can be feasible and if and how fast the cost of implementation can be recovered.
