Abstract:
The Didactical and Research Center of Faculty of Physics from Surlari – Caldarusani is placed in a protected area “Nature 2000”, in Ilfov county. One of the major research activities of this Center is to monitories the atmospheric quality in this area. This paper presents the daily variation of solar radiation recorded at this location. Going from this information we developed energy analyze for Surlari Research Center using RetScreen Expert software. Also, this study proposes renewable energy sources project for Center’s power supply, in order to reduce atmospheric pollution. Energy efficiencies, cost analyses, reduced emission of pollutants are evaluated too.
