Abstract:
We investigate higher harmonics of collective flow of charged particles in Pb-Pb collisions at beam energy of 3.5 TeV using the Standard Event plane method and try to interpret the possible flow results from p-p collisions at the same beam energy, for similar behaviour. In this study, experimental data used are from ALICE public data basis from the 2010 Run. Lastly, we perform comparisons of the obtained results from experimental data with the theoretical predictions, modeling nuclear hydrodynamics with iEBE-VISHNU package. We find that hydrodynamics give quantitatively reliable results for the particle spectra and flow. A discussion of the possibility of collectivity in p-p and small systems is presented.
