Abstract:
By applying the momentum conservation law, the dynamics of a pulsejet engine in vertical motion in a uniform gravitational field and in the presence of drag force is analyzed. The modeling follows references [1-3] and, in addition, takes into account the velocity dependence of the friction force. The validity limits of the model are discussed.
