Abstract:
Kepler's laws describe the behavior of a two-body system between acts a force inversely proportional to the square of the distance. They have been of essential interest since the appearance of Newton's laws and are were the basis for the formulation of the law of the gravitational interaction. Nevertheless, the laws of Kepler are of particular significance for understanding the movement of the celestial bodies around the Sun, or of satellites around their mother planets. This work presents a simulation program for the motion of the celestial bodies on an elliptical trajectory, having a graphical interface that facilitates the understanding of the phenomena and we consider that it is a useful tool in teaching physics.
