Abstract:
In this paper, using the method of asymptotic expansion to the singular integral equation of the lifting surface equation, the lifting line equation of the nonplanar wing of high aspect ratio is derived The equation obtained is interpreted in the framework of the Prandtl's lifting line theory. Two exact solutions are highlighted and for each of them it is shown that the span efficiency factor is greater than unity.
