In this work we study the triggers for geomagnetic storm which took place on March 27, 2017, characterized by the minimum Dst index of - 74 nT. From its features on main and recovery phases, the analysis of the parameters of the interplanetary event (interplanetary magnetic field (IMF), proton temperature and density, flow pressure) and from the derived parameters (plasma beta, electric field (Ey)) we could identify two different magnetic structures (magnetic cloud (MC) and heliospheric current sheet (HCS)) as trigger factors for our geomagnetic storm, using data from ACE satellite. The associated solar source is a coronal hole (CH).
