Abstract:
Our goal is to investigate, by using homogenization techniques, the macroscopic behavior of a coupled system of nonlinear reaction-diffusion equations arising in the modeling of some biochemical processes involved in the carcinogenesis in human cells. Our analysis extends some of the results obtained in [1] and [2].
