Abstract:
The work presents a very simple and interactive instrument created using Microsoft Excel TM to describe the motion of a mass point in constant gravitational field without considering any air resistance. First, we used the very fast, interactive and useful calculations features of the Excel to visually interact with the end user and to presents the results. For the calculations, we used the more sophisticated and flexible calculations features of the Excel Visual Basic for Application. The usefulness of the tool consists in both visual an interactive interaction with the graphical part of the Excel, but, by studying and modifying the Excel macros, the students may increase their knowledge of both physics and computer programming.
