Abstract:
The physics of the flexible macromolecules has received increasing attention over the last decades, especially for the case of the branched polymers, due to their various applications. Using computer simulations, we investigated temperature dependence of the properties of linear, comb and star polymers. The interaction along the polymeric chains are described by the finitely extensible nonlinear elastic model and the non-bonded interactions are modeled by Lennard-Jones and Morse potentials. The results of the simulations were compared were compared with both theory and experiment.
