Abstract:
Nanomaterials of sodium nickel oxides (NaMn2O4) were prepared according to Pechini's method for applications as cathode materials in Sodium Ion Batteries (SIBs). Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, thermogravimetry were used to investigate the prepared nanomaterials. NaMn2O4 nano-powders were employed as cathode materials of SIBs to improve the cathode performance in terms of current density and capacity by selectively controlling oxidation and reduction reactions. The electrochemical properties of cathode materials were examined by cyclic voltammetry (CV) to obtain the current density, capacity and life cycle for cathode material of SIB.
