Title: The behaviour of quantum degree of polarization under degaussification

Abstract: Our work here deals with the behaviour of different degrees of polarization under a degaussification process. We consider addition of photons to a two-mode thermal state to get mixed nonGaussian states. We investigate the Stokes-operators-based degrees of polarization and two distance-type measures of polarization. We compare the evaluated degrees for photon-added states with the corresponding ones for two-mode thermal states.
