Abstract:
The main purpose of the project was to heat a home with the lowest costs. To capture solar energy and turn it into other forms of energy, it comes to the idea of "free energy", at least for this project, because the cost / benefit ratio is very good. The idea was to build a solar panel, made of cascade 8-centimetre sheet metal tubes, directly on the southern wall of a building and painted with matte black paint for the best absorption of photon flux. Both ends of the route are inserted into the building, one at the top, the other at the bottom of the building. The panel was subsequently covered with glass having a very good transmission coefficient (approx. 82%), the air layer behind the glass being a good thermal insulator. The operating principle of this device is based on the air circulation, which transports the thermal energy. The air inside the building is pushed through the tubing by a fan, crosses the sun-heated tubing, and takes it much of the stored thermal energy, then goes through the other end of the tubing at a mean temperature greater than 2.5 times the one from the entrance. With a fan power of just 170 W, we produce an average power of 6-7 kW.
