Abstract: Many teachers are looking for more effective ways to help students to better understand of physics concepts, which build the basis for learning and understanding engineering and technology. On the other hands the jobs of the future will require more technical skills which can integrate different branches of science like math, physics, computer science. Using robotics as a way to teach STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics concepts is not a new idea, some countries have introduced robotics as a study discipline in school curriculum. In this work I present my experience as a physics teacher with FIRST Tech Challenge‘s (FTC) robotics program I started a year ago with a group of students from Ovidius High School Constanta.
