Abstract: Starting with 2010, which coincided with winning the Nobel Prize in Physics for the graphene discovery, carbon materials have been reached in the development of electronic devices. Generally, thin films and nanostructures play a very important role in the development of electronic and optoelectronic devices, and in particular photovoltaic cells, field-effect transistors (FET), fuel cells, etc.[1]
A major interest in thin carbon films was due to physical properties (band gaps) and chemical (chemical stability).[2] One of the advantages of the graphene is the wide range of absorption spectra and as well SPG (processed graphene solution), which could improve the energy conversion potential. Also, the working energy of the graphene is 4.5 eV, and it can vary with surface conditions and the number of layers.[2,3]
In this paper we compare the growth of carbon nanowalls on silicon, platinum, quartz, glass (ITO), stainless steel and carbon paper at 700 degrees Celsius, gas concentrations 1400: 25: 1 sccm (Ar: H_2: C_2 H_2 ), RF power at 300W , 60 minutes deposition time and pressure at 120Pa.
