Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to investigate using x-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the TiO2 nanotubes created by electrochemical anodization. TiO2 is used in many applications in the environmental and energy fields, including photoelectrochemical conversion of solar radiation in hydrogen. Solar hydrogen as an energy source is green, sustainable, with a high energy density. The structure of the TiO2 material can affect its photocatalytic performance, more exactly its surface area, adsorbtion and carrier transportation.
