Abstract:
In this study there were analyzed characteristics of Electron Paramagnetic Resonance spectra for the following substances: Mn2+ ions doped in CaCo3, irradiated alanine and also the blend of these two systems. The main purpose of the study is to obtain a compound having individual characteristics. This compound will be used as a marker for art pieces, as an auxiliary method for authentication. There were employed the splitting's dependency of concentration for manganese spectral lines, the spectral intensity for irradiated alanine probes, and also the quantity ratio between manganese and alanine. We managed to highlight the fact that these three parameters lead in a very unique way to the characteristics of a single Electron Paramagnetic Resonance spectrum. In this way, paramagnetic system marking in a similar manner as mentioned in this research, proves to be a promising and also efficient method to label not only for its use in the art area, but also in other domains, like pharmaceutics or technology.
