Abstract: The quality of the air we breathe is essential to health, the environment exerting multiple influences on living organisms. The action of pollutants on organisms is varied, from a simple discomfort to the deterioration of the state of health. Because a very large number of students of the "I.L. Caragiale" National College in Ploiesti live in the city or in the neighboring area of the city, this study aims to analyse how certain meteorological parameters influence the quality of daily inspired air at home, at school or on the way from home to school [1].The urban pollution event will be studied from the beginning of December 2018, indicated by the six air quality monitoring stations in the Ploiești agglomeration for five consecutive days. The polluant studied will be the type of particulate matter PM10. Meteorological parameters such as wind speed and direction, temperature, pressure are provided through the WeatherSmart program of the professional weather station Excelvan in the endowment of the school. The analysis of meteorological parameters will be done in Excel, the study of the air mass trajectories during the pollution event will be done through the Hysplit application [2].The results of the research will be presented in the form of a conceptual map through Smart Ideas software in order to achieve the most dynamic physics lessons [3]. An interdisciplinary approach to the content of information technology, physics and mathematics will be achieved.
