black hole mass merger rate gravitational waves

Abstract:
We simulated various black hole populations using a cosmological N-body/Smoothed-particle hydrodynamics (SPH) code package [1,2]. The objective of this analysis is to use the results of the simulations in order to compare them with the present black hole mass distribution[3]. In doing this, we can predict the initial population of black holes, the mass distribution, and the black hole merger rate, which will be a direct contribution to the future gravitational wave observatories (like the LISA Space Mission)[4].
