Abstract:
A ’’passive house’’ is a building concept that provide a superior thermic comfort and higher-quality interior air with lower costs. Another feature of these houses is the high energetic efficiency. The main reason is the thermic isolation of the foundation, walls and structure of the house through the usage of isolating materials and without thermal bridging technologies. The energetic consumption for heating a passive house is reduced with over 75% in comparison with the consumption of a conventional house. A component of the ’’passive house’’ concept are the efficient technologies that minimise the energetic consumption from other sources. By choosing to use regenerable energy sources, the consumers are able to sustain the development of clean energies that will reduce the impact over nature, associated to the generation of conventional energy and they will increase the energetic independecy. These technologies may come to use in lowering bills for different utilities. Solar and eolian energies do not represent only a cost effective alternatives for consumers, but also a sustainable one because the CO2, SO2, NO2, CO emissions are reduced basically to zero. In the present paper we presented comparative calculations regarding the total annual heat demand for heating a conventional house and a passive one, taking into account: the energies inserted in the heating installations, solar input, heat loss through transmission and ventilation, internal heat releases. Also we compared the total annual fuel demand and the annual emission of CO2 for the two type of houses.
